The Birthday Party Project

The Birthday Party Project is an amazing organization that helps provide birthday parties and gifts to children in shelters and foster care, children who would not normally get to celebrate their special day.  This national organization throws monthly birthday parties in Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Fort Worth, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco, and Washington DC. The Opportunity Network

The Opportunity Network levels the playing field for low-income high school and college students by providing access to college and career success. The Opportunity Network’s founding program serves high-potential public school students from the summer after 10th grade through to college graduation, for a total of six years. Their students come from underserved communities, where they recruit Fellows from over 130 public high schools and community-based organizations. Random Acts of Flowers

Random Acts of Flowers recycles and repurposes flowers by engaging dedicated volunteer teams to deliver beautiful bouquets and moments of kindness to individuals in healthcare facilities across the country. As a recycling “green” nonprofit organization run almost entirely by volunteers, Random Acts of Flowers is committed to nourishing the health of the environment, individuals, and the community. Freedom Service Dogs

Freedom Service Dogs is a nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by rescuing dogs and custom training them for individual client needs. Clients include children, veterans and active duty military, and other adults. Their disabilities include autism, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
