Christina Burz
Senior Vice President, Search Management
Christina specializes in general management at the CEO and COO levels, marketing and sales, content development and programming, and business development and strategic planning. She is an expert in assessing and attracting senior executives and their teams in large corporate settings as well as start-ups.
For nearly 25 years, Christina has delivered innovative talent management solutions for companies, both domestically and internationally. Before working with Carlsen Resources, she was vice president in the media and entertainment practice at the former Diversified Search Ray & Berndtson, a retained recruiting firm with offices in more than 35 countries. Prior to that, she was co-founder and managing director of New York City-based LexMedia Solutions, serving the media and entertainment industries. She was a vice president with Bishop Partners, specializing in the communication and entertainment industries including cable, broadcast, publishing, new media and related converging technologies. She began her career in the executive search industry at Johnson, Smith & Knisely, a generalist recruiting firm in New York City.
Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley. She is an animal lover, writer and hospice volunteer.
