Terri Thompson is an executive search consultant who brings nearly 20 years of corporate work and executive search experience across multiple disciplines to Carlsen Resources, Inc., with specialization in the digital media and marketing fields.

She has held a number of leadership roles within Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, including co-chair of the Friends organization, its fundraising, volunteer and special projects arm. She currently serves on the Community Board.

Terri developed her expertise in the cable television industry, where she spent 16 years with Cox Communications, Inc. as vice president of marketing for one of the industry's leading companies, Terri provided direction to the corporate staffs for the sales, advertising, marketing, new product development, customer service and direct broadcast satellite lines of the business. Prior to that, she garnered extensive experience in key positions in product planning, strategic field marketing and management.
Throughout her successful career, Terri has been passionate about women in business and children's issues. At Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT), she held the position of national president of the organization as well as head of the WICT Foundation.

Terri has also been recognized for her leadership expertise by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, who named her as one of the Top 10 Business Women, and by the Atlanta Chapter of WICT, who named her Woman of the Year.
She is a double graduate of Emory University, where she holds both a master's and bachelor's degree in business administration.
Terri lives in Atlanta with her husband and daughter.
