As senior vice president of search management for Carlsen Resources, Inc., Jeannine Sommer manages all facets of the executive search process, including research, strategy, client management and negotiations. She joined CRI in 2000 as vice president for candidate outreach and was promoted to her current position in 2002.

Jeannine is a graduate of Pace University and is actively involved in a number of industry organizations including Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) and National Association of Minorities in Communications (NAMIC). Jeannine is also on the national board of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), an organization she has been heavily involved in for years. |

Prior to joining Carlsen Resources, Jeannine served as director of executive recruitment for Cablevision Systems, where she led executive-level searches for all 26 of the company's cable systems and supervised the relationship between search firms and the company. As director of research at Norman Broadbent International, Jeannine assisted management in launching its entertainment and new media practice. Her success led to her promotion to vice president of entertainment and new media within that practice. Jeannine began her career in executive search as a research assistant at Bishop Partners in New York City. |
Jeannine lives in New York with her husband and two children, and is an avid swimmer.
